Project Homeless Connect to serve over 1,000 on July 13

United Way's Lark Kesterke talks to a
Project Homeless Connect client.
Agencies are gathering July 13 at Cascade High School to provide free services to the homeless. The one-day event served 950 people last year, and numbers are expected to top that this year.

Services include free haircuts, care for pets, medical, dental and foot care; backpacks with hygiene supplies, HIV, vision and hearing tests; lunch and screenings for food stamps, housing and more. Services are available 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Cascade High School Auditorium, 801 East Casino Road, Everett.
